Obama's failure is a complex issue, but no matter which way you turn it, it's ugly. Obviously I'm still obsessing about his birth certificate lie and fast and furious, but really, were I brave enough, it'd take a LOT longer to pick apart this legendary presidency. Lie after lie after lie. Yuk. Examine the example he has set.

Herein Joe hilariously explores the nanny state from a 'cultural perspective'. Thus explaining how he changed from democrat to liberty lover. Vote Ron Paul.

Katie Pavlich's brave, detailed accounting of the Obama administration scandal is well cited and a gut wrenching, albeit protracted, read (at least it was for THIS criminal justice major). She knows the scandal from a local perspective, did her homework, shared it eloquently, and has braved her subsequent consequences. Well done, Katie. The cause of liberty salutes you.
What do you call it? Read the book before you judge.
Eric Holder (and his minions at the ATF, DOJ & HSA) should be on trial for first degree murder. Barack Obama should apologize to the Mexican government. The whistle blowers should be promoted, the business-owners lauded. All drug/gun-rights wars should cease immediately. Journalists should report it. Justice should be served.

But it won't, unless you vote Ron Paul.

Weekend reads as good as this, and you can kiss brain candy goodbye. Having read Fast and Furious (so nauseating I couldn't share with y'all yet) and diving into proper US history, I'll add this one to the 2012 must read in nonfiction. I wish FnF had been fiction!
Our Senator Jim DeMint's new book is ... REAL.

The Morning After was written by my friend Joey Griffin for Political Ruck.us.  With each week's submission I watch his frustration grow.  This particular amendment symbolizes so much of what has gone awry in our government, and Joe does a fantastic job of venting for us.

Majority rules is wrong.  Democracy, as an ideation relative to communism, is a delightful dinner discussion with a well educated teenager.  But I live in a flawed, yet exquisite Republic, thank God.  Get the facts, before this rape of civil liberties runs epidemically amok.

I demand our legislature give our candidates a second-chance to file their SEI forms. I stand against offering middle school girls the guardisil vaccine and am aware it is in your financial best interests, but ask that you abstain from interference. Lastly, I am in favor of the competitive gold/silver legal tender bill soon to be placed on the floor. Excellent idea for the South Carolina economy to surge ahead.

I got a response. One, out of ALL state representatives, provided a non-automated response. And here is is.

Thank you.

I will support efforts for second-chance filing.
I almost always vote against more big government.
I support the gold-silver legal tender bill.

Did y'all really not hear the news?

Hey Democrats, fracking wouldn't exist without subsidies.  Please stop throwing money at the government.  It is ill equipped to cope.
Hey Republicans, the planet is warming up.  Perhaps we could get a little solution oriented?

Eg, this is what I sent to Sen. Graham, specifically as a supporter of NDAA he needs some redirecting.
"NDAA, SOPA, PIPA were bad enough.  CISPA is an abomination.  I could have characterized it under "security", but that is YOUR (the representatives in DC) ruse.  My reality is that CISPA represents an ethics violation.  Please concern yourself with the bleak economic future and current civil infringement this bill encompasses.  Please do not vote in favor of CISPA."

Some of my biggest questions get answered, flush with wisdom

As far as violence in the streets goes, that perhaps depends on who wins. I am a huge Ron Paul supporter but he is probably the one most likely to cause blood in the streets if he wins because he wants to do away with so much of the government aid that people have come to depend on, in many cases for a number of generations. When their subsidies, welfare, etc. are taken away either because of a rational, sensible decision or because there just isn't any more money that is when revolution is highly likely to occur.

Millions of people in many western countries don't know how to live any more without government help. Here in Bali we see the other extreme. If people don't have the money to buy food they go hungry. Somewhere in the middle there would be a humane point at which people are educated, have decent health care, and are supported only when they are truly needy. But that point is difficult to find and never holds for long. Politicians in any democracy very soon learn that they can find ways to buy votes through welfare.
